About: Owner/Operator Michael Loveland got his start in the restaurant industry when he moved to the Grand Rapids area from his hometown of Adrian, Michigan back in May of 2016. He started working at Yesterdog over in Eastown in August of 2016 as a Crew Member while attending GRCC for Business. His father, Nino Torres, was the General Manager at Yesterdog for 20 years. By July of 2017, Michael helped his father open up his own restaurant called "1 Bun Restaurant." Michael was the Restaurant/Marketing Manager for 1 Bun. Unfortunately, 1 Bun closed and in October of 2018, Michael was then hired in as part of the Management team at Russ' Restaurants. At the end of January 2020, Michael left Russ' to pursue other interest. As of June 2021, Michael has offically opened Lovie's (Food Truck & Catering) to provide Grand Rapids and all of West Michigan the best of what West Michigan's Diner Food Truck has to offer!
